Dr. Onur earned his medical degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 2001, followed by a specialization in General Surgery at the same institution, completing his residency in 2008.

Fluent in both English and Turkish, Dr. Onur is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery and the Turkish Obesity Surgery Society.

With extensive experience in both bariatric and general surgery, Dr. Onur specializes in a wide range of treatments, from obesity surgery procedures like sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, and gastric balloon, to laparoscopic surgeries and general surgery interventions.

He is also skilled in proctology, breast disease diagnosis and treatment, and endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy and gastroscopy.
