Types of fat transfer

Fat transfer is versatile, and the type you choose depends on your goals and the area you wish to enhance. The three most common types are:

Facial fat transfer

2. 3 weeksMost initial swelling and bruising subsides, giving a better sense of the result. Larger areas such as the buttocks or breasts may still be swollen; heavy lifting and vigorous exercise are avoided.

Am I a good candidate for fat transfer in Turkey?

In general, good candidates have volume loss with reasonable skin elasticity, are in good overall health, do not smoke, and have a sufficient supply of donor fat from the abdomen, flanks or thighs. For facial fat transfer the donor volumes required are small, so most patients qualify; for larger transfers such as breast augmentation or a BBL, more donor fat is needed and very lean patients may not have enough.

Prepare by avoiding aspirin and blood-thinning medications for at least a week before surgery, telling your surgeon about any medications or chronic conditions at your first consultation, and not smoking or drinking alcohol for 24 hours before and after surgery.
