• Abstaining from Aspirin or any blood thinner meds must be done for at least a week before the procedure day.

Performed by a dermatological surgeon, hair transplant surgery usually takes between 4 and 12 hours. But before it commences, the patient is examined – that means she will under various blood tests to determine if she has HIV or Hepatitis C in her system.

Considering that a hair transplant is a minimally invasive procedure, the recovery period is swift. Expect the donor area to be wholly healed three days post-surgery. But the re-growing of hair in that same area will be visible after ten days. It takes between three and 7 days for the recipient area to heal completely. You can resume your regular workout routine seven days after the surgery.
