Luna Clinic Medical Travel Services is a medical travel coordination company in Istanbul. We do not perform surgery and we do not employ these surgeons. Instead, we connect international patients with independent, board-certified partner surgeons who each practise at their own accredited clinic or hospital and make every clinical decision themselves.

Choosing a surgeon abroad is the most important decision in any medical travel journey, and it should rest on evidence, not marketing. Luna works only with independent partner surgeons in Istanbul whose board certification and society memberships can be verified.
You meet a named, credentialed surgeon, not an anonymous clinic. That surgeon makes every clinical decision and is responsible for your care, while Luna coordinates your travel, stay, transfers and interpretation.

How we verify surgeons
Verification, board certification and independence
Before we introduce any patient to a partner surgeon, we confirm that they are properly qualified and that their status can be checked independently. Verification is the basic condition for being a Luna partner surgeon: we look for board certification and recognised society membership, and we make sure everything we present to you can be confirmed against public registers.
Board certification
Each partner surgeon holds specialist board certification in their field, whether that is plastic and reconstructive surgery, ENT, bariatric surgery, ophthalmology or dentistry. Board certification confirms completed specialist training and assessment, not just a general medical licence.
Professional society membership
Where relevant, our plastic and reconstructive partner surgeons hold membership of societies such as the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (TSPRAS), the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOPRAS) and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). Bariatric partner surgeons may hold membership of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO).
Independent practice
Every partner surgeon is an independent practitioner working at their own clinic or accredited hospital. Luna does not employ them, does not direct their clinical decisions and does not perform any part of the treatment. This keeps clinical responsibility clearly with the qualified professional treating you.
Verifiable by you
We only present credentials that you can check yourself. If you want to confirm a surgeon's board certification or society membership before you travel, your Luna coordinator will point you to the relevant register or directory so you can verify it independently.

Clinical decisions stay with your surgeon
Because our partner surgeons are independent, the answers to your medical questions always come from the person actually responsible for your care. Whether a procedure is suitable for you, which technique is appropriate, how long you should stay in Istanbul, what recovery will involve and what results are realistic are all clinical judgements made by your surgeon after assessing your individual case. Luna never advises on suitability, technique or outcomes, and no outcome is ever guaranteed. Individual results vary from person to person.
