About Prof. Dr. Gürhan Özcan

Prof. Dr. Gürhan Özcan is a senior plastic surgeon and academic with more than four decades of experience in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery. He completed both his medical degree (1977) and his specialist training in plastic surgery (1983) at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in Ankara, and went on to build a career bridging Turkish and international plastic surgery, including a tenure at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, USA.

He served as President of the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (TSPRAS) from 2008 to 2010, and currently practises at his own private practice in Nişantaşı, Şişli, Istanbul.

His practice is built on the principle that aesthetic surgery should produce results that are natural, balanced, and harmonious with each patient’s anatomy. Patients consult him for both cosmetic refinement and reconstructive concerns, and he is particularly recognised for his work in rhinoplasty (including revision rhinoplasty), abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), breast surgery, and eyelid surgery.
