Reviews & Comments Policy
This policy explains how patient reviews and comments work on Luna Clinic Medical Travel Services, how we verify them, and how we moderate them. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
Who can leave a review
A review may be left by a patient, or by a companion who travelled with them, after they have travelled to Istanbul and received a medical service through a trip coordinated by Luna Clinic Medical Travel Services. Reviews describe the coordination and travel experience and the patient's own account of their treatment with an independent partner surgeon.
How we verify reviews
We only publish reviews we can connect to a real, coordinated patient journey. Before a review is marked as verified, we confirm at least one of the following against our own records:
- An enquiry and coordination record in our system that matches the reviewer.
- Travel, accommodation, or transfer arrangements coordinated by our team for that patient.
- Direct correspondence (email or messaging) with the patient or their companion about the trip.
Reviews we cannot connect to a genuine coordinated journey are not published as verified. Where we display reviews collected through an independent platform such as Trustpilot, verification is handled by that platform under its own rules.
What we publish
We publish each qualifying review in full, whether it is positive or negative. We do not edit the substance of a review to change its meaning, and we do not remove a review simply because it is critical. Reviews are shown with their date and, by default, sorted by the date they were written.
Comments
Registered users, a patient's companion, or a Luna Clinic Medical Travel Services coordinator may add comments to a review, for example to answer a question or clarify a point about the coordination process. Comments follow the same rules as reviews.
Rules for reviews and comments
To keep reviews useful and safe for everyone, the following are not allowed and will be removed:
- Advertising, promotional material, spam, or paid or incentivised posts.
- Profanity, threats, harassment, hate speech, or content that incites unlawful acts.
- Content of a personal, political, or religious nature unrelated to the experience.
- Anything unlawful, including content relating to the sale of organs.
- Personal or confidential data of third parties.
Protecting personal and medical data
To protect patient privacy, we may redact the following before publishing, even when the reviewer includes them: full names, dates of birth, countries, specific diagnoses, the names of treating physicians, and exact treatment dates, programmes, or clinical results.
Medical disclaimer
Luna Clinic Medical Travel Services is a medical-travel coordination company. We do not perform surgery, employ the partner surgeons, or provide medical aftercare, and reviews do not constitute medical advice. Clinical decisions and outcomes are the responsibility of the independent partner surgeon. Individual experiences and results vary and are not a guarantee of your own outcome.
Editing or removing your review
If you would like to edit or remove a review you left, or you believe a review breaches this policy, contact us at contact@lunaclinicturkey.com and we will review your request.
